Reasons WHY should you convert to LED lighting?

• Without hazardous materials
  All fluorescent lamps and tubes contain the hazardous metal mercury and are considered hazardous waste when they are discarded; However, we made our LED lighting in recycling materials (aluminum and plastic), and LEDs contains no hazardous materials.
• Durable and longer lifetime
  All of our LED tubes are made of aluminum and plastic and can well draw heat away from sensitive electronic components to help maintain the LED’s efficiency and prolong its lifetime.
• Less energy consumption
  You can see the comparison from below chart. Comparing to fluorescent tubes, LED tube can use less energy to reach the same brightness or brighter.
• From 1st September 2023, T5 and T8 fluorescent tubes will be phased out altogether not only in the European countries but also in the United Kingdom (UK).

Can I use LED tubes in fluorescent lighting fixtures?

We design our T5 ECG compatible LED tubes almost the same as the fluorescent tubes, and they can work with the ballasts that are already installed in your current lighting fixture.

We have the shortest LED tubes T5 in 136mm, 212mm, 288mm, 517mm, and 549mm, 1149mm, and 1449mm. They could be compatible with most of the electronic ballasts. These T5 LED tubes are replaceable and almost the same size as fluorescent tubes.

Do I have to rewire the fluorescent lighting fixture?

No, you don’t have to rewire the fluorescent lighting fixture. But we would highly suggest to check the condition of the lighting fixtures, such as the ballast, lamp holder or parts. Incorrect ballasts, old and broken lighting fixture with bad connections could also damage the LED tubes.

LEDs, on the other hand, are made of semiconductors that emit light when an electric current passes through them, making them much more robust and sensitive comparing to fluorescent. If you cannot read the ballasts information, please contact us for double checking.
