What is the TRIAC dimmer issue in the market?

LED lamps are not compatible with incandescent dimmers, even some LED lamps are marked as compatible with incandescent dimmers. There are many unpleasant experiences founded such as reduced dimming range, flickering of the lamp and so on.

The characteristics of LEDs are different from traditional incandescent lamps, and required electronic components to control current and voltage. Therefore, the industry is offering solutions for the technical problems, and most of the LED power supply manufacturers has released new technology and supply TRIAC dimming LED Driver to work between TRIAC dimmers to control the dimming performance to be smooth and stepless ₍₁.

However, we found that the weird dimming issues working with the TRIAC dimming LED drivers cannot be well solved at low dim range and still not stable enough. The undesirable dimming results can still be found now in most of the TRIAC dimmers system.
