BEST's T8 LED yellow light tubes are specially developed for UV photosensitive applications to filter out UV and blue components with wavelengths below 500 nm. The spectral sensitivity of broadband photoresists ranges from the near UV to the visible blue part of the spectrum. Artificial sources of white light and daylight that contain wavelengths in the sensitive range of the photoresists will expose the resist-coated substrates prematurely, which makes reproducible litho-processes impossible.
