What is Circular Economy?

The basic concept of circular economy is “Reduce – Reuse - Recycle”, which is opposite to the traditional linear economy concept of "Take - Make - Use- Dispose".

Circular economy is a sustainable recycling system. It encourages companies to reduce material use and choose recyclable components in the product manufacturing process. In this way, even the product reaches the end of its life, it can also be decomposed and remanufactured into a new product. The sustainable recycling system can be considering as environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and finally achieving the target of sustainable development.

With circular economy as the core concept, Benson Energy Saving Technology developed the electronic ballast compatible LED lighting products. The aluminum and PC materials in LED tubes are all recyclable, 99% of components can be re-entered into the sustainable circular supply chain.

Electronic ballast compatible LED tubes can directly retrofit old fluorescent tubes, operated by electronic ballast in old lighting fixture. When electronic ballast comes to the end of its life, we can also supply dimmable or non-dimmable LED drivers as replacements, extending the use of LED tubes and making LED lighting products sustainable and upgradeable.

What should we do when the electronic ballasts come to the end of life?

Benson Energy Saving Technology has new developed the constant current LED driver to replace electronic ballast. Constant current LED driver supports a stable current output which can protect the LED tube from overheating caused by excessive current. LED driver has over 99% power factor while operating with LED tubes.

Can I upgrade the lighting system to be dimmable?

If you want a LED lighting dimming function, Benson Energy Saving Technology provides 0-10V LED dimming sets. Including 0-10V LED drivers and 0-10V dimmer, which can be used together with LED tubes as a complete dimming system.

0-10V dimming system controls perfectly the DC voltage output and brightness by dimmer. The smooth dimming quality and without flicker light is highly recommended. The LED tube has passed CE, RoHS certifications, and the lumen maintenance≧70% (IESNA LM-80 standard).
